Participation and approval
Apply through your existing account with accurate identity, channel and audience information. Participation requires manual approval. There is no subscription requirement. Pilot applications can be reviewed before activation; sharing activity earns nothing until approval and activation. These terms apply to the BSDirectory program only.
Eligible purchases and calculation
Skip the line is the only eligible product. Its current list price is $19 USD. Commission is 50% of the actual collected purchase amount excluding tax and shipping, after applicable discounts, rounded down to whole cents. A $19 tax-exclusive, undiscounted purchase earns $9.50; discounts or tax included in the collected amount can reduce that figure. Free listings, Premium Spot and other products are excluded. Processing fees are not deducted from the commission base.
Attribution and the first qualified submission
The policy is the latest valid non-direct partner referral before the first qualified submission within 30 days of its click. Direct visits and invalid codes do not replace a valid referral. The referral cookie is used only after separate optional referral consent. The first attributed submission consumes that referral; an explicit partner code voluntarily entered in Submit takes precedence over a cookie and requires no referral-tracking cookie. One partner is attached per submission, and a submission cannot be reassigned after creation.
Moderation and later payment
A submission is qualified when it is validly saved for editorial review, attributed to an approved partner and is not a self-referral. The 30-day click window ends at that submission. The partner relationship remains attached if moderation and the later Skip the line purchase happen more than 30 days after the click. Free-to-Skip upgrades can qualify. There is one commission-bearing purchase per submission. No commission exists without a valid saved attribution and a confirmed eligible payment. Editorial decisions and launch capacity remain independent.
Validation period and eligibility
A confirmed commission is pending for at least 30 days from recorded payment confirmation. Approval is manual after checking payment, independence, refunds, disputes and prohibited conduct. Pending amounts are not a promise of payment. Suspended or rejected partners cannot generate new commissions. Existing valid accrued balances are preserved for review rather than silently deleted.
Refunds, disputes and recoveries
A full refund reverses the commission. Partial refunds freeze the commission until the remaining tax-exclusive amount is verified; an allocation is never guessed from a gross refund alone. An open dispute blocks eligibility and a lost dispute reverses it. A won dispute requires review before any release. A correction after payment creates a documented recovery balance. That balance may offset future approved commissions, or be repaid manually with a recorded reference; BSDirectory does not automatically debit your account. If a recovery remains on closure, it must be resolved through the documented review process. You can ask support to review an adjustment.
Manual payouts and the $25 threshold
Payouts are processed manually in USD after validation, normally in the monthly review cycle, when available cash commissions after recovery offsets reach $25. A recorded payout is distinct from approval. Payment details, any lawful invoice/tax documentation and transfer method are agreed through the account’s verified contact channel when payment is due. Do not enter bank or card credentials into application fields. No Stripe Connect account or automatic transfer is created. No subscription or automatic renewal applies.
Balances below $25 and closure
Unpaid valid balances carry forward; they do not expire merely because they are below $25. Request closure in your dashboard to stop new attribution and commissions. Valid accrued amounts are eligible for a final manual settlement below the usual threshold once validation, documentation and any recovery are resolved. Request that final review through your sign-in contact channel; the pilot targets settlement within 60 days after those requirements are complete. No balance is silently forfeited solely for being below the threshold.
Marketing rules and disclosure
Disclose clearly, close to the recommendation or link, that you can earn a commission. Use an appropriate sponsored/nofollow link qualification where applicable. Do not use cookie stuffing, hidden redirects, forced clicks, fingerprinting, spam, unsolicited bulk messages, false claims, impersonation, misleading earnings statements, fake testimonials or unauthorized trademark bidding. Do not imply that BSDirectory guarantees editorial approval, traffic, sales, SEO backlinks or an affiliation with a third party. Do not purchase through your own code or create accounts to bypass self-purchase exclusions.
Suspension and termination
BSDirectory may pause new attribution or suspend participation for documented investigation or prohibited conduct. Unreliable heuristics alone do not trigger automatic account suspension. Review reasons and financial changes are recorded. Existing lawful validated liabilities remain subject to settlement and documented refund/fraud corrections. Codes are unique and cannot be changed to capture another partner’s history.
Privacy and fiscal responsibilities
Referral tracking is optional and separate from product analytics. Without consent, the founder may explicitly enter a partner code instead. Refusal does not block submission or change price. No device fingerprinting is used. Attribution attached to a completed submission and payment records are kept as operational/commercial records, subject to applicable retention and privacy rights; withdrawing a browser cookie does not fabricate or erase an actual purchase. Partners see their own commissions and payouts, not referred founders’ private details. Each party must supply required identity, invoice and tax information and account for its own applicable obligations.
Program changes and contact
The commercial operator must validate the applicable contract, privacy, invoicing and tax obligations before activating the pilot. This template does not assert legal compliance or invent a PBS Studio legal entity. Material changes should be communicated prospectively and recorded with a new terms version; existing accrued balances must not be silently rewritten.
