About the product
Screenpipe captures screen text and audio history locally so you can find past work, recall decisions, create meeting notes, and summarize your day. AI assistants can search that history through MCP and a local REST API. It is a desktop app with source available under the Screenpipe Commercial License. Raw history stays local by default; configured cloud AI, transcription, sync, and integrations can transmit context off-device. Free and paid plans are available.
